Freelance 0 6 0 Tender Engine based on a Super Simplex owned by David Cawthorn. Constructed By Mike Barnett. This is a good performer on Sunday afternoons when we offer rides to the general public.

David Cawthorn with his 5" gauge English Electric Class 37 having its first run of the year on a Wedsnesday in early June 2009. Below  again with
his Class 37 in a photograph that shows The Brampton Park track and surroundings at their best in early June. Although he does appear to have fallen asleep after a long stint at the controls  on a warm Sunday afternoon

TRUCK SHED AND TRAVERSER

TH+DONOR Tony Holdsworth, Chairman shoiwing Mr & Mrs Lockett the work progressing on the truck storage faciilities towardfs which they so generously donated some funds towards its total cost.
reinforce A small selction of the numerous Photos taken by David Cawthorn of the work being undertaken by members on Wednesdays during the winter months 09/10 on the carriage traverser. The Carriage storage shed was completed the previous year.
This whole project, which will enable sets of riding trucks to be placed onto the running track  with relative ease, should be complete for the start of the new running season in 2010.
